RJM Fisheries Limited is a wholly Canadian company specializing in
salt fish production. Incorporated in 1987 RJM Fisheries started as
a fishing enterprise focused on catching and landing good quality
fish for both fresh and salt fish markets.
In 1999 the company acquired a processing facility in Middle East
Pubnico and began focusing on the production of salt fish. Middle
East Pubnico is located in the southwestern Nova Scotia, an area famous
for its quality salt fish products.
The
company is owned and operated by Arnold De Mings with the help of
James Amos as office and technical
advisor and a team of experienced workers. Arnold has 25 years experience
as a fisherman, twelve of those years as captain. His fish have
been known for their quality. This should be no surprise as his
family has been actively involved in the fishing industry for over
two hundred years.
